John 17:20-26
“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; 21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. 24 “Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. 25 O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. 26 And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”

Sunday's message will begin with John 18:1-11. Verse one states, "When Jesus had spoken these words..." The words that Jesus had spoken can be found at the end of chapter 17 where we find Jesus praying for us. Read John 17:20-26. This is absolutely awesome, we have recorded in the infallible Word of God Jesus Christ praying for you and I. Jesus prays that we be as much like Him as He is like the Father. He declares that He and the Father are one and He desires that we be just like Him. I just want to dance when I read this. Dance and shout and sing and declare the glory of God. Jesus is praying that we be like Him. At the end of verse 21 He tells us why, He wants all the world to believe that He was sent by the Father for us. He wants the world to believe this fact through our lives and our love for Him. He wants us to declare it and walk it in such a way that the world shall believe. In verse 23 He repeats that His desire is for the world to believe, and understand that the Father loves them. Then in verse 24 Jesus says, He wants us to be with Him and to experience the Glory that only He understands. He wants us to know the love of God the way He knows it. Finally in verse 26 Jesus prays, "And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”
Jesus said He will declare the name of the Father. He prays the love of the Father will be in us, not on us or around us but in us, He then prays that He could be in us. We are to be like Him, so will you proclaim His name today? Will you do kingdom work today? Will you be like Jesus today? Will you be all about THE KINGDOM today, or all about your kingdom today! Have a blessed 4th of July and may God bless you this day. For those traveling and those that will be traveling may God go out before you and protect your paths. I am excited about what God is doing with the message Sunday. Please read this blog and John 18 a couple of times before Sunday to prepare. I look forward to seeing many of you Saturday at the 4th of July Celebration at Tim and Leila's. Walk With A Purpose Today.

RAK CHAZAK,

Brother Big Daddy
