For He says:
“In an acceptable time, I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold,
now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. – 2 Corinthians 6:2
The Ancient War Cry of the Hebrew Nation was, “Rak Chazak.” It is used throughout the scripture and is a command to be strong and courageous.
This saying was used by Moses and was boldly spoken by Joshua. It has been the war cry of God’s people for many years and it is definitely the war cry we need today. It is referenced in the scriptures many times. (Deuteronomy 11:8, 31:6, 31:7, 31:23, Joshua 1:6,7,18, 1 Corinthians 16:13, Romans 4:20, Ephesians 6:10)
Chazaq – [khä·zak’]
The Rock-like uumph of the spiritually zealous heart. The Game face of a Mighty Man; Tenacity of Soul, The Gritting of the teeth of the Spirit- inspired warrior, and the bearing of those teeth to the enemy, Chazaq is possessing a Resolute and Growling Resolve for the Glory of God; a Flush of Spiritual Fervor; a tensing of all a soldier’s muscle.
