Where is your Mind?

Isaiah 26:3
You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.

We as children of God many times have a wandering mind. This wandering mind can and many times does lead to sin. Sin begins in the mind and is fulfilled in the flesh. In this scripture we are instructed to keep our mind's focus on Jesus Christ so that we can continue in perfect peace. This scripture is about us walking in peace and being confident, solid in any circumstance because our mind is stayed or locked on our Savior. This is the only to find peace in the a turbulent world. Let us face it, we walk day to day in a world that is getting further and further away from Jesus Christ. We walk day to day in a world that cares less and less about a Savior that has provided salvation for the world. This walk will become more and more treacherous as the world spins further and further away from the glory and peace found in Jesus Christ. For the children of God, we must keep our minds on Jesus and thus our trust in Him and Him alone. Do not rely on yourself for anything. If the blood of Jesus has touched your life and you now belong to Him, then belong to Him and let Him provide for your every need. After all He is able able and willing to do far greater than anything we could ask, Ephesians 3:20, "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us..."

Jesus not only knows what we need but He is able to do exceedingly and abundantly more than we could ever ask. So often our thoughts and mindset is on the here and now, Jesus is always focused on eternity. Jesus knows best. Keep your mind on Him, put your trust in Him, love Him with all your heart. Seek Him and seek His control. TRUST HIM ON THE MOUNTAIN TOP, TRUST HIM IN THE VALLEY. HE HAS YOU AND HE LOVES YOU.

RAK CHAZAK,

Brother Big Daddy
