Jeremiah 2:7-8
7 And I brought you into a plentiful land
    to enjoy its fruits and its good things.
    But when you came in, you defiled my land
    and made my heritage an abomination.
8 The priests did not say, ‘Where is the Lord?’
    Those who handle the law did not know me;
    the shepherds transgressed against me;
    the prophets prophesied by Baal
    and went after things that do not profit.

If Jesus Christ is Lord of your life then He has placed you in a place of authority and a place of healing. He loves you and wants to protect you. He is a provider and a sustainer. Lets look at what the Word of God says about His provision as we continue through Jeremiah 2. Jesus brought us into a plentiful land to enjoy its fruits and its good things. When the children of Israel inherited the promise land instead of being thankful, they defiled God's land and made His heritage an abomination. We do the same when we proclaim the name of Jesus Christ, but live like we neither know Him nor want to know Him. How you live obviously matters or God would not be laying out for us how His children defiled His land and made an abomination of His heritage. We do the same thing today in many ways, sin, disobedience, living for self at all costs defiles the beautiful gift God has provided. Look at how things deteriorated in the Promised Land the priests stopped calling on God, the teachers did not even know God, the shepherds sinned, and the prophets prophesied by Baal and unprofitable things. We need not look to far to find all of these things in the United States today. We must take a look at these things and understand that it is time to walk differently and be different. If we do not take our walk with Jesus seriously and make our relationship with Him the most important relationship in our lives, then we will struggle and struggle daily. Today walk with Jesus with your whole heart. In everything you do remember what Jesus has done in your life, thank Him for walking with you, thank Him for everything in your life. Yes even the difficulties knowing that He will use your difficult times to do great and mighty things in and through your life.

RAK CHAZAK,

Brother D
