1 Corinthians 3:16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. Ephesians 1:13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, John 20:19-22 Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.” 20 When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord. 21 So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” 22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:1-4 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. We receive grace for the following reasons:
2. For the sake of His name.
3. To be a witness among the nations.
There is no doubt that the Grace extended to us from our heavenly Father is the ultimate show of love. The outpouring of the sacrificial blood of Jesus Christ is the most beautiful love story ever written. Pick one of the points or all three and expand on the scripture. How does your life reflect Grace in this way.? How is the purpose of grace evident in your own life? RAK CHAZAK, brother david

Luke 9:23-27 Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily,[a] and follow Me. 24 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it. 25 For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and is himself destroyed or lost? 26 For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His own glory, and in His Father’s, and of the holy angels.
Here is the most important question for you to answer today regarding walk with Jesus, is Jesus your consultant or your Lord? Now before you jump out there with your answer so quick, let us look at these a little deeper. A consultant is someone whose wisdom we highly value and listen to, but at the end of the day, we make the final decision. They consult you in but you have the final call. One thing you need to understand God doesn't do consulting work. Kyle Idleman says when you treat God as a consultant He simply stops showing up for your meetings. Lord on the other hand brings the connection to obedience. You cannot call Him Lord and walk in disobedience. Period end of story, if He is Lord you don't take his word as a suggestion, you take His Word and the absolute authority in your life and you walk as He directs. This is short but it is powerfully pointed! How have you treat Jesus as a consultant? How have you treated him as Lord? What are you doing to correct your current situation?
