Kicking Out The Devil
Elizabeth Jordan is a successful relate living in an unsuccessful marriage. She assumes she is doing fine spiritually, but gets unexpectedly tested. A providential encounter with a new client leads to a mentoring relationship that will forever change her life. In this scene, Miss Clara asks heart-to-heart questions to help Elizabeth be open and honest where she is spiritually.
Tony Jordan is far from God and making decisions some might equate with playing with fire. Fortunately for him, he has a friend willing to speak difficult truth, even when it's ill received. Michael is a genuine friend who understands much about the role of accountability. This scene depicts the importance of that value in the context of godly relationships.
